John C. Isbell

John C. Isbell
Tennessee Editor

John C. Isbell serves as the Precinct Caucus Coordinator for Sumner County. He is active in developing and implementing an effective, grassroots precinct structure for the upcoming election cycle. Also, he is developing a comprehensive database for the support of conservative candidates on a local and state level. He has served as membership chairman for the party and as a candidate on the county level.

After receiving his M.B.A. from Middle Tennessee State University in 1993, John began working in the mortgage and insurance industry. He has enjoyed a successful career as a mortgage/insurance broker.

John's first exposure to the political process came in grad school while he served as Graduate Senator in the Student Government Association. He was a quick study to the liberal stronghold on the educational system and realized the need to take a stand for common-sense conservative values. John has seen the moral decline of our society for the sake of compromise and bipartisanship. He believes, without reservation, that a grassroots desire for change must be manifested throughout mainstream America before the liberal agenda can be defeated. In addition to explaining the conservative agenda, we must also explain the liberal agenda for what it is. Our society, in all its haste, has become dependent on sound bites and media portrayal of politicians. The media and Hollywood has controlled sound bites and the characterization of candidates. Through grassroots work, we can neutralize the media and Hollywood, thus exciting change in our country.

John is married in Jeannie and they have four children: Angela, Kevin, Ryan, and John II. They are active in church and the community at varying levels.
