James Parmelee is the President of Parmelee Associates, a Political Communications firm based in the DC area. Mr. Parmelee also serves as President of Republicans United for Tax Relief and Chairman of NorthernVirginiaGOP.com.

A television producer, Mr. Parmelee hosts a conservative public affairs show on 21 cable stations in the DC area and across Virginia.

Mr. Parmelee has served on a number of corporate and governmental boards including appointments by former Republican National Committee Chairman & Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore, Senator George Allen and National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Tom Davis.

He is currently Vice President of the Virginia Board of Medical Assistance Services (the State Medicaid Board), Chairman of the Technical Advisory Panel for Virginia's Indigent Health Care Trust Fund and a member of the Virginia Commonwealth Transportation Safety Board.

Mr. Parmelee was formerly Deputy Communications Director for President George W. Bush's Virginia campaign, Congressional Affairs Director for the National Council for a Republican Congress, National Voter Registration Co-Chairman of the Young Republican National Federation and National Co-Chairman of the College Republican National Committee.

Mr. Parmelee was elected by his fellow small business leaders as a Delegate to the 1995 White House Conference for Small Business. He was also elected by his fellow Republicans as a delegate to the 1988 Republican National Convention and has served as a member of the State Central Committee of the Republican Party of Virginia.
